Well Dressings in the Peak DistictWell dressing is the ancient art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made of petals, peppercorns, leaves and other natural things. These are set onto a base of moist clay. This tradition is unique to the Peak District and Derbyshire and attracts visitors from far and wide.
